8-MINUTE FITNESS PROGRAMS AT HOME


PHASE 1

This Intekai 8-Minute Fitness Program is designed to help Members who find it difficult to reserve  3 – 4  hours each week to exercise. The first phase encourages a consistent exercise routine every week, even for the busiest of Members. Similar to your Diet, you must make time and plan.

Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance. Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. And when your heart and lung health improve, you have more energy to tackle daily chores.

Start each day’s routine of exercises with 20 repetitions of standing twists. Increase weights (if you have them) each month to build the intensity.

PHASE 1

  1. 2 sets of Standing Twists
  2. 2 Sets of each exercise from each routine
  3. 8 Repetitions of each exercise from each routine

Phase 2

  1. 2 sets of Standing Twists
  2. 2 sets of each exercise from each routine
  3. 15 repetitions of each exercise from each routine

Phase 3

  1. 3 sets of Standing Twists
  2. 3 sets of each exercise from each routine
  3. 15 repetitions of each exercise from each routine

5 SIMPLE RULES

  1. Remember, consistency over intensity
  2. Do not get distracted by how easy it may feel at first, it is a progressive plan
  3. Make contact to have workout modified when necessary
  4. Cycle through routines, take 1 to 2 days off each week
  5. Be consistent, 5 to 6 days per week
